Taitaja Competition is Finland’s biggest event in vocational education and training students compete in vocational skills in Finnish Championships. Taitaja2022 Pori -competition will be held 16.-19.5.2022. The event brings together the country’s professionals to compete for the Finnish championships in Pori. Welcome to watch a unique event in Satakunta for the first time!

A completely new kind of situation in the world also brings opportunities – our goal is to have the first major event of the 2020s. Come and watch the competitions and side events!

More than 45 skills and skills demonstrations with over 400 competitors will be seen during the event! In some skills, there are also international participants. The 4-day event also features TaitajaPLUS skills for students with special needs and in Taitaja9 Competition students from upper comprehensive school compete in technical skills and craft. There are also five skill categories with no age limit – Mechanical Engineering CAD, Floristry, Cleaning Services, Welfare Technology, Landscape Gardening.

Taitaja2022 Pori event is organized by Länsirannikon Koulutus Oy WinNova together with Satakunnan koulutuskuntayhtymä Sataedu, not to mention numerous other partners. Skills Finland is the parent organization.

Event areas

Pori Sports Center is located right next to the city center, about a kilometer from the market square.
The sports center forms a functional whole as a venue for sporting events and also other public events. The Taitaja event is mainly located in Karhuhalli and the training ice rink, as well as in the outdoor areas of the sports center.

The Emergency Services Training Centre of Western Finland offers a comprehensive framework for practicing rescue and safety in the right environment. The Emergency Services Training Centre can be found at Ilmailuopistontie 226, Pori.

In addition to hockey, Pori’s Isomäki Arena is suitable as a venue for many events. The versatile and adaptable facilities are excellent venues for meetings and large concerts. Isomäki Arena can be found at Metsämiehenkatu 21, Pori.
